My best friend decided to celebrate her birthday at knotts this year. Of course she invited me and our other two friends to come with her. I was expecting to be running around screaming from some scary monster trying to eat me. I was not scared, at all. My friends were jumping at every corner of the mazes and screaming bloody murder. I thought it was comical, I started busting up laughing at them all because they looked so funny. Their faces were horrified. Every time a monster came up to me and tried scaring me I laughed or I would try to scare them back.
It was a pretty amusing night. I want more of a thrill though. Thinking about going to universal this year. Hopefully that will be more scary.

Media these days
Girls have been focusing more and more on their image and how boys look at them due to the fact that magazines and TV shows have put them as these sex symbols. We feel we have to look good and wear name brand clothing. Its ridiculous that us girls feel this way at all because it is not true that we should look a certain way based off what society says.
My 13 year old sister is a perfect example. She worries all the time about if this shirt makes her look fat or does these shorts show my butt enough (which im sure that any pair of shorts would show it just fine) It makes me sad that she would even ask me things like that. The other day she even told me that for Halloween her and her friends are going to dress as sluts. Of course i told her that there would be no way in hell she is going to be any such thing.
To me a shirt is a shirt, regardless of what brand it is. I really hope that by me not caring about my personal image it will rub off onto my sister as well. I dont want her to be one of those girls who has to fix their make up every 15 minutes in class, worries if a guy likes her or not because she isnt pretty enough because i tell her every day that a guy who is worth her time will like her for who she is not what she is trying to be...
Girls in society today do NOT need to have this pressure on them. It is pressed into their minds from day 1. Girls i am here to tell you, just be yourself. Who cares what others think of you? Just. Be. You.

REDLANDS: Craigslist ad sparks stolen bike arrest
A 39-year-old Redlands man was arrested this week after a University of Redlands student reported that her stolen bicycle was being advertised for sale on Craigslist, police say.Eric Andrew Martinez was arrested for investigation of possessing stolen property Wednesday at his home along the 1200 block of Cornell Avenue, police spokesman Carl Baker said in a written statement, though on-line jail records show no record of Martinez being booked.
The 21-year-old victim reported her light blue Electra women's bicycle with silver rims and a wicker basket were stolen Tuesday from her apartment along the 1200 block of Brockton Avenue. She called police the next day after seeing the bike on Craigslist.
"Redlands police contacted the seller, posing as a potential buyer, and made arrangements to see the property," according to the statement. "When they arrived at the suspect's residence, ... just a short distance from the victim's residence, they found the stolen bicycle

It's so main stream now. People write "having a horrible day" and when someone asks them what's wrong they'll reply "i don't want to talk about it" or they will explain to you in full detail everything that's wrong with them. To me it is dumb, if it weren't for me having family on there and that being the only way to see how they are doing i would have deleted mine by now. I used to do the exact same thing, but i've realized how dumb it makes you look. I never post statuses anymore, I only write in my blogs.

What are we without love?
So many people in this day and age are leading loveless lives, and I'm willing to bet that they are not the joy filled individuals that walk around with a smile on their faces. No, I believe that love makes the world go around.
